How is the Aura Score different from a generic face score?

Structure. A generic score is one number with no seams to work at. The Aura Score is a 0–100 rollup with named bands (90+ Excellent, 85+ Radiant, 80+ Glowing, 65+ Balanced, below that Building) sitting on five dimension scores with ranked improvement areas — a dashboard rather than a verdict.

Why does GlowUp score lower than some rating apps on a first scan?

First scans typically land mid-50s to mid-60s by design. A scale that flatters everyone at the start has nowhere to go and no honest reason for routines and tracking to exist; a conservative baseline leaves the trainable dimensions room to move, which is the entire point of tracking.

Can I just get a quick score without the rest of the system?

Yes — scan and read your result; nothing forces you into the routine features. But the score comes with the breakdown, strengths, and ranked priorities regardless, so even a casual scan tells you more than a single number would.
